013 - Loss

013 - Loss
I lost a friend today, because our ideologies were different. A little extreme ? I think so too. Honestly, it’s was all one big misunderstanding that turned into something I didn’t expect. I guess now I’m left with the situation and how to deal with it.
I’ve usually struggled with loss. Loss of a friend, a relationship, a parent, a pet, you get the idea.
Over the years I’ve learnt to cope with loss and honestly not feel that bad, take it to be as a part of being in any relationship, cause that’s what it is.
I truly believe, there’s a timeline to everything ever made, whether that’s a bond or something more tangible like a football.
I’ve learnt to respect that timeline, especially when it ends. Sometimes I fight for it and hope it stays longer but it almost never works out.
I tried fighting for the bond to stay but it was futile, after all it was an ideology difference at the end of the day.
A part of being friends with someone is respecting that and not enforcing your boundaries on the other person, purely because ideologies are defined by experiences. I’m not you, you’re not me. Respect that.
It is what it is, life goes on. See you on 014.
