I came across this random instagram reel, Nu-metal af.
ever since I heard sleepyhead by jukes, I’m back in my Nu-Metal era.
Deftones, Ill Nino, mudvayne, SOAD, Linkin park, Slipknot, Korn, I’m literally listening to them waking up and on my way back to sleep.
There’s something about the genre that makes it so special, like at no point is metal core as memorable as Nu metal.
I feel like Nu metal’s making a comeback. The 30 year reset, everything that blew up in 1990 is coming back, from the dressing styles to the music, I think its a good time to bring back the genre, considering in my opinion, bands like slipknot and linkin park will have the magnitude of Metallica, Rammstein and maiden for the next generation.
anyways, I hope linkin park makes a comeback, I miss them and their music. This is me the last time I was in my Nu-Metal Era.
