081 - feels like 2011

I feel like I slept more than I should’ve over the last few days. I’m sick of this cold but I feel like the fever’s gone. I mean after all I slept with no AC and a hoodie and a blanket. 

I started working on nevermind’s website, and I think I’ve got some really cool ideas. 

I had more work but meh, I wanted to go out since yk weekend. So asked a friend to pick me up, went for a massive drive to Abu Dhabi & then on the way back turned on the radio only to find out, India was 3 wickets down in a matter of minutes. 

Personally I didn’t even know the final was that day but, it’s the final and I felt the stress too. We got back to his house and we watched the match, dude. What a freakin brilliant game. Suryakumar Yadav’s catch changed everything. 

Reminded me of 2011, and to match the vibe, we drove to bur dubai / karama at like 12 am to just, you know, get a feel of what it would’ve been like if we were in India. 

2011 was incredible, that win, is something I’ll never forget. It’s like the whole country just put everything aside and celebrated for a few days straight. And honestly we played so much cricket after that.

I feel like playing cricket now, if any of you are playing cricket lmk, I’ll come join you.
