I just read that buildspace was shutting shop and I’m devastated.
I haven’t been emotionally connected to a brand in years and for once, I felt like I belonged exactly where I was meant to be, amongst creators.
I understand the decision and I respect it, I’m sure it wasn’t easy to make it, but that being said, I did envision it becoming a culture that would make a global difference.
To the world it may seem like a startup shutdown, But for me, I feel like I lost a friend.
I’ve known buildspace and the founding team personally for over 2 years now and over the last few months, I’ve gotten to know them and a lot of other founders spread across the world chasing different dreams through buildspace. There’s just nothing like it. No community I’ve been a part of till now has had me this deeply involved.
Fkin hell, idk how else to put it, considering their initiative pushed me to kickstart NEVERMIND. I might not have done it if I wasn’t pushed to be outside my comfort zone.
Through the years, I’ve always known being uncomfortable at all times enhanced growth, but like it changed when I met people that liked comfort. Buildsplace reignited a feeling I’d once lost and for that I’ll forever be grateful.
Thank you Farza, and team for pulling off what you did. You guys have been incredible

mentors throughout.
